Answer a typeform without leaving Slack
Sometimes you just need a quick sanity check on the latest project or find out who’s up for lunch. Typeforms work great for that too.
Use this integration to let people respond to a typeform directly in Slack for a frictionless respondent experience, making it easier to get the info you need.
Collect quick feedback from internal teams, or log tickets to IT—all without leaving Slack.
**What you need:**
- A free Typeform account
- A free Slack account
- A hobby for all that time you're about to save
1. Click the __Use this integration__ button, on the left of this text, to get started.
2. Authenticate into Slack, review the permissions, and click "allow" to install the app in your workspace.
3. To collect responses within Slack, simply paste the public link to your typeform. If your form contains advanced question types and features, users will be prompted to answer in the native Typeform experience. Otherwise, you'll have the option to respond in Slack!

__A few things to note:__
Any link to a typeform shared in Slack will be unfurled—expanded into an enriched UI (user interface)—when shared into a public channel (this is a limitation from Slack).
This enriched UI will also offer the chance to __Answer in Slack__ if the form:
- is public
- does not have any of the following question blocks: __payment, group, file upload, picture choice, hidden fields__
- does not use the __Recall Information__ feature
- does not have any __logic jumps__
If all of this is __true__ then the unfurl UI will have an __Answer in Slack__ button which will open a modal with the questions for the user to answer.
