- Add a background image to your form
Not sure if you need a background image or a question image? This article will help you understand the difference between the two.
Themes
Apply a theme from Typeform’s theme gallery to your form, or create your own from scratch.
A theme lets you customize the following:
- Colors for the main elements of the form: question text, answer text, buttons, button text, and background.
- A font for the text.
- A background image (optional), including brightness and scaling configuration.
- A brand logo (optional), available on Plus or above plans.
Once created, you can save a theme and apply it to other forms in your organization.
It’s worth noting that only the person who created the theme can see and use it. If you want other team members to see and use a theme you’ve created, you’ll need to create it in a brand kit. See below for more details.

Brand kits
Take it up a notch by adding a brand kit to your organization. Brand kits let organizational owners and admins of a Typeform account add assets and design themes that can be used across their organization by any team members, making sure that all users stay on brand.
Upload logos and other visuals, set color palettes, and create themes that everyone on your team can see and use.
Brand kits are available to accounts on a Plus plan or higher.
