Changes to contractual relationship and billing entity for US customers
We want to inform you about an upcoming change in our contractual relationship and billing entity for Typeform services for our customers in the United States.
Beginning September, 2024, and continuing over the following months, we will be transitioning our US-based customers from our Spanish legal entity, Typeform SL, to our US legal entity, Typeform US LLC. This change means that Typeform US LLC will be responsible for managing the sale of our services to customers whose billing address is in the United States, and will also oversee the legal relationship with them.
You can see this change reflected in our terms and conditions, which have also been updated to clarify and simplify their wording.
Why the change?
This change is primarily aimed at enhancing our service delivery to our US customers, as well as to improve the wording of the terms and conditions to make them clearer and easier to understand. By establishing a legal entity in the United States, we can better cater to your local preferences and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this transition allows us to streamline payment processes and provide a smoother and more reliable experience for our customers.
What does this mean for me?
As a result of this change, you’ll notice that invoices will be issued by Typeform US LLC instead of Typeform SL. While the invoicing entity is changing, rest assured that there will be no impact on the quality or availability of our services. There is no action required on your part.
