Can I connect my forms to different Calendly accounts?
Yes, you can connect each form to a different Calendly account, as long as you have no other active Calendly sessions running in your browser. You can even connect a different Calendly account to each Calendly question within the same form.
How can I switch between different Calendly accounts?
1. To switch the Calendly account used in the Calendly question, click Edit next to Calendly in your Question Settings menu.
2. Click Revoke to remove the account currently associated with the app.
3. Then, click Authenticate to add a new Calendly account. Make sure you're logged out of all other Calendly accounts to prevent the app from automatically re-authenticating the original account.
Can I select shared events or events in team accounts in Calendly?
No, you can only schedule personal event types. Currently, team or shared event types are not supported with the Calendly app in Typeform.
How can I add more fields to my Calendly question?
If you can only see the Name and Email questions in your Calendly invite, but want to add other questions, like Phone number and Address as well, this section is for you.
You can add more fields to the Calendly question by editing your event directly in your Calendly account.
1. Log into your Calendly account and click Edit on the event you want to add more questions to.
2. Select Booking page options.
3. Click + Add new question to start adding new questions to your invite.
4. Add the question you want to ask to the Question field.
5. Use the Required checkbox to make your question mandatory, and select an Answer Type from the dropdown list.
6. Click Done when you’re ready with setting up your new question.
You can now add more questions using the + Add new question button, and when you’re done with adding your additional invitee questions, click Save and close.
Once you’ve saved your new settings, you can go back to your Calendly question in Typeform, where you’ll see the new fields under your Question Settings. In this example, the Phone number question has been added in Calendly:
You can use the + button next to these fields to recall information from the corresponding Typeform questions and automatically populate this information on your Calendly scheduling page. You can also check out this Calendly help article for more information on invitee questions.
Can I pass information from Hidden Fields to a Calendly event link?
Yes, you can recall information from any question or Hidden Field in the redirect URL to your Calendly link. Make sure to add all the invitee questions to your scheduling page in Calendly (as seen above), then check out this Calendly help article to find out more on how to add information to your Calendly link.
Now you can use the Redirect to URL or Redirect on ending features to pipe information from your form into your Calendly link. This can be information from a question, a Hidden Field, or UTM tracking. Check out this article for detailed information on our workaround for redirecting respondents to a Calendly invite.
Why is the Calendly button not clickable on my mobile device?
In some cases, on mobile devices, the button for the Calendly question is not clickable, as seen in this video. This is because having an embed inside an embed can mean that the scrolling experience in the iframe is not always optimal. There is no quick fix available for this just yet, but you can find a workaround below using our Embed SDK.
If you’ve got some developer skills and feel confident using our Embed SDK, you can add a redirect target attribute to your HTML code for the redirect to open in the same iframe. Check out this video for a detailed explanation of this workaround for embedded forms. You can also find out more about the redirect target option in Typeform here.
