1. What should I include in my competitor research survey?

First things first, to get the most honest insights, try not to name-drop your competitors—you want to know the first brand that springs to their mind. You probably don’t want to do any marketing on competitors’ behalf.

If they do mention one of your competitors, ask what they like about them, or what makes them memorable. Maybe it’s their pricing, marketing, design, social media presence. The deeper you dig, the better the insights.
